Dr. Chi Keong Goh

Co-founder · Chief Scientist

PhD in Artificial Intelligence · 15+ years in AI commercialisation

CK has 15+ years of experience in AI research, productisation and governance. He holds a PhD in evolutionary multi-objective optimisation from NUS and has led AI teams at Rolls-Royce, Yoozoo Interactive, A*STAR and AI²Labs. He developed Rai's AI stack, bringing sensor, satellite and agronomic data into models for yield, fertiliser and water use. He has published extensively, holds five patents and contributes to AI governance initiatives.

San Linn

Co-founder · Head of Operations and Engineering

Systems builder · IoT deployment · applied research

San has over a decade of experience designing and deploying IoT and AI systems across agriculture, manufacturing and healthcare, with earlier roles at AI²Labs, Yoozoo and Rolls-Royce Singapore. At Rai he leads the hardware, software and field systems: soil sensors, hubs and irrigation nodes. He was recognised with the A*STAR Advanced Manufacturing Startup Challenge award.

Chai Yai builds the partnerships that let Rai scale. He leads collaborations with universities, cooperatives, government agencies and industry, so Rai sits inside both research and farm networks. His career spans technology, education and ecosystem development, including national-level work in Singapore on technology and workforce strategy.

Cindy Lai

Head, Research and Communications

Consumer insight · brand strategy · ESG

Cindy brings 17+ years in consumer insight, brand communications and strategy across Asia, including global insight roles at Standard Chartered running multi-country research programmes. She co-founded Elk & Daka, a consultancy turning data into design-led stories with a focus on ESG. At Rai she makes sure farmers' needs and market signals shape the platform.

Rai is built by Axia AI Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore. Our models are grounded in Thai university research and tested on Thai farms.

Chiang Mai University

Paired laboratory soil data that our soil models are trained on; climate science and crop modelling. Memorandum of understanding (Oct 2025) for laboratory validation and joint research.

North Chiang Mai University

Our first partner. Memorandum of understanding (Dec 2023) for joint research and access to research farms; IoT field testing and farmer training, with our sensors tested against Thai soils in the field.

Rai and Easyrice sign a national distributorship.

Bangkok · 25 September 2025

Axia AI Solutions and Thai partner Easyrice (Easy Rice Digital Technology Co., Ltd.) announced a distributorship agreement for Rai at Farm Expo 2025 in Bangkok, to widen access to Rai across Thailand. Easyrice brings its farmer networks, its rice-quality expertise and its industry relationships.

On Thai farms since 2023

  1. Dec 2023Memorandum of understanding with North Chiang Mai University: joint research and research farms.
  2. Oct–Nov 2024Joint-venture agreements with Prime Marketeer: sensing on pilot farms; proof of concept completed.
  3. Sep 2025Chiang Mai demonstration farm: corn and greenhouse trials checked against laboratory soil tests; calibrated low-cost sensors estimate nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
  4. Sep 2025National distributorship with Easyrice, announced at Farm Expo 2025.
  5. Oct 2025Memorandum of understanding with North Chiang Mai University and Chiang Mai University: laboratory validation and joint research; two papers in preparation.
  6. 2026A 48-day field trial in Indonesia compared a Thai liquid fertiliser with local products under continuous sensing.
